Three suspended lamps U-light, a collection designed by Timo Ripatti, light up the lobby of this building in the Richmond Industrial Park in Vancouver. The minimalist texture created by the aluminum elements and its capacity to fill wide ceilings, while keeping lightness in the volumes, suit perfectly this project by MCM Interiors.
The interior design of this lobby follows the West Coast Contemporary style. The dated floor has been replaced by porcelain tiles with two grey tonality, with a central corridor that invites guests to enter the building. The walls have been covered with custom-made vinyl panels resembling real concrete walls. To soften the other elements, a preserved greenery bell over the walls, trying in this way to bring inside the outside nature.
Symmetrical with regard to the entrance, two small seating zones. The creamy shades of the chairs invite the visitors to sit down and relax. The black small tables tie to our suspended lamps U-light, which fill a double-height ceiling. U-light was chosen in this case among the several suspension lamps of Axolight, but it is also present among the wall lamps and ceiling lamps collections, without forgetting the possibility to order a sound-absorbing version.
